Prototyping

Meccano is a Prototype Development Center; it realizes prototypes and pre-series through appropriate techniques such as: subtraction of material (CNC milling 3 to 5 axes) into metal, plastic or other material or by adding materials through rapid prototyping systems (SLS, SLA, FDM, etc).

The application of these innovative technologies allows the creation of aesthetic and functional prototypes that optimize the design process both in terms of time and cost.

The use of rapid prototyping technologies contributes to saving time and costs in the design and development of new products.

If a large number of identical prototypes are required, the vacuum-molding process is used to obtain resin details with very similar characteristics to the final material.
